Legendary lens in Mint condition


This Nikon 135mm lens was the 1st version introduced in 1959 just after the tick mark lens which makes it a 1960 production. This is a 9 blade diaphragm lens, 1 of only about 2, 000 made. It's a nice match for an early Nikon F, Nikkormat FT, FS, FTn, etc. and will work with any non-AI camera body plus AI or AIS with stop down metering. It will not work on AI bodies without a flip up metering coupler. It can also be used manually on the Nikon D40, D60, D3000 and D5000 digital bodies.

Optics are clear and sharp with no chips, scratches, mold, fungus or haze. The glass looks great and was well protected. The diaphragm works very well and is nice and clean. The focusing ring is super smooth as well as the aperture ring. This lens has just slight signs of use, light brassing, light nicks, please see all pics. I would still consider this lens collectible and in Excellent Overall Condition.
